I was employed by the Cass County Sheriffs Office from 2004-2012 before leaving for another agency.  During my tenure I was in multiple positions including as a supervisor. During my time with the Sheriffs Office I worked with many amazing Deputies, one of whom was Robert Sorenson. Robert Sorenson was a great coworker and quickly became a good friend and even after leaving for Plattsmouth PD he remained the same man I had come to respect as a friend and Officer. Robert Sorenson always carries himself in a professional and respectful manner, which is much more than I could say for the administration during my tenure. There is no doubt in my mind the Cass County Sheriffs Office is in need of new leadership and I personally feel the Office and the County would flourish under the professional and integrity driven leadership of Robert Sorenson.
